attending

Queens Lanyon Building

The conference is open to everyone: students, writers, student writers, academics, teachers, doctors, nurses, cashiers, cleaners, politicians …

But if you want to come (and please do!) there are a few things you need to know …

QUB Unionwhere?
Check-in and all events for the conference take place in ‘The Space’, upstairs at Queen’s Students’ Union, located on University Road opposite the main university building. There are shops, bars and cafés in the union for delegates to unwind, and the union is within walking distance of trendy Botanic Avenue and the classy city centre.

cost?
Our delegate fee is £15 which includes:
- all panels and workshops
- the two evening readings
- the exclusive ‘delegates only!’ after-party at BAR SUB
- and tea&coffee&yummythings at breaks.

paying?

By post with a sterling (UK) cheque (made payable to Queen’s University Belfast), or you can pay on the day with a sterling cheque or good old cash.

You can register right up to the day but if you know you’re coming, fill out one of our registration forms so we know you’re coming and can have a pretty name badge ready for you.

sleeping? eating?

Accommodation, breakfast, lunch, dinner (and drink) are not included in the delegate fee … but never fear: here is a handy, downloadable e-pack full of suggestions of where to eat and stay in Belfast, no matter what your budget.
